I am Roshni Puthukudy hailing from Kerala, settled in Bangalore, married and mother of 2 boys. I am a Civil Engineer with M.Tech in Construction Management & a PGDBM in Financial Management and have worked with leading construction firms in Mumbai and Bangalore, till the “start-up bug” bit me. I was always passionate about art and wanted to pursue my passion, whichever possible way I could. Thanks to the defence background, I had been to nine states of India during my schooling, that had given me immense opportunities to learn about the various art forms of those areas. I have been blessed to understand the art of almost all states, though they were all in a superficial level while schooling. The break in the corporate life, after my kids, gave me ample time to take up my passion more seriously.

Q2: What made you decide on making/selling this Product?
At a point of time in life, somewhere my passion for arts was side-lined by corporate & family responsibilities. A break in my corporate career gave me a chance to pursue my passion again. After a few courses to learn the Indian art forms deeply, it was all experiments, trial & errors etc. at home. When things started falling in place, & I found my products sellable, started thinking to give a name to my work & hence started my brand, EthniiChic. Somewhere within me, my love towards art and my career aspirations merged. That gave birth to EthniiChic.
Q3: What is one unique thing about your Product?
EthniiChic is an initiative that brings Indian ethnicity to your homes, in the form of home décor, accessories and Jewelry that are hand painted or decoupaged. Each piece of art is crafted with utmost care and passion. A lot of products are apt for gifting purpose whether it is for festivals or for special occasions.
The understanding of my customers’ needs and preferences really well makes my business sustainable. Also the utmost importance given to the quality of the products helps me get repeat customers. I believe in giving my customers the value for their money. Moreover, I believe that with the range of products that I make, each & every person gets something of the other of his/her liking. Art is always appreciated. I work according to the customer requirement also with complete customization/personalization of the products. The price range is also very broad, for the customers to choose according to their budget.
Q4: Additionally what would you want to tell your buyers?
We focus on protecting the Indian art forms and enabling the traditional artisans. Each of our handmade products is a piece of art and made with lots of love and care. It is a way for you to take a piece of India, home.
